Chardonnay Harvest - Sunday 27th October

Join us for our final volunteer harvest day of 2024, this Sunday 27th October. A huge thanks to everyone who helped pick the pinot noir, the grapes have been pressed and the 2024 vintage winemaking process has begun! Next up, we have approximately 10 tonnes of chardonnay to bring in and we would love to have you join us...

Sunday 27th October

The plan for the day is as follows;

8:15am - 8:45am: Arrival, breakfast & induction

9am: 10:30am 1st picking

10:45am - 11:15am: Elevenses with hot drinks and pastries

11:30am - 1:30pm: 2nd picking

1:40pm - 2:30pm: Lunch with wine

2:45pm - 4:30pm: 3rd picking (possible earlier finish depending on progress)

4:40pm - 5pm: Coffee/ tea and cake

Please join us if you can! Spaces are limited and we would appreciate it if you can commit to the whole day. If you can't, just let us know.

Here are some useful things to know:

Bring sensible clothing and be prepared for all weather types.

Ankle high boots or wellies to help give extra ankle support.

Gloves, if you have them (we have some if you don't)

If you have your own secateurs, bring them just in case (we have these too)

Bring your own water bottle and reusable cup for hot drinks

Please make sure you "book" the total number of adults coming with your group. Children are welcome, just let us know if you are bringing them and what their ages are, but do not include them in your ticket registration.

Please make a note of any dietary requirements when booking.

Please notify us if you can't make it. We can open up your space to the waiting list.
