Frequently Asked Questions
Visiting the tasting room
Yes, all tours, tastings and events are by appointment. We're a small team on a working estate, so booking helps us look after you properly and have a glass poured and ready when you arrive.
We are open all year round, however days and timings can change seasonally. The Tasting Room is currently open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5.30pm April - October for our tour season. We are open Mondays for Bank Holidays and school holidays.
We're in Cholderton, Wiltshire, SP4 0EW. On the edge of Salisbury Plain and a stone's throw away from Stonehenge. There's parking on site and the approach is signed from the village. If travelling on the A303 from the West, we recommend coming off the Thruxton slip road rather than taking the sat-nav preferred route across the A303.
We love dogs, but with livestock across the site we're not able to welcome them at the vineyard. Assistance dogs are of course always welcome.
The Tasting Room is on the ground floor and we have accessible facilities. The vineyard is flat but the terrain can be rough. We can adapt tours to suit your needs as requested. If you have particular requirements, send us a note ahead of your visit and we'll make sure everything's ready.
Yes, families are very welcome! We share our site with our longstanding family business Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm.
Yes, the tasting room can be hired privately outside our usual opening hours. Get in touch through the contact form and tell us what you have in mind.
